Inspired by the legacy of the iconic Coach Jack Ramsay, our 2023-24 City Edition Swingman Jersey is a tribute to a World Championship NBA Coach, Naismith Hall-of-Famer, and a brilliant basketball aficionado. Known affectionately in Portland as "Dr. Jack", he was not just a mastermind on the court but also a 70's-chic fashionista off it. His trendsetting and bold plaid-patterned fashions became synonymous with his name as he led the Trail Blazers to their 1977 Championship.

About The 23-24 City Design
The uniform base is set in our primary black team color, adorned with the striking "Dr. Jack Plaid" patterned accent wings, waistband, and wordmark. A subtle tone-on-tone black plaid pattern drapes down the sides of the jersey and shorts, nodding to our original plaid city edition uniform design. The popular "ripcity" wordmark, filled with the red and black plaid design, is prominently displayed across the chest at an angle, bordered by an off-white trim. This jersey also features our retro "ripcity" custom font with its sweeping tail. The numbers are set in a retro off-white with a contrasting red accent trim.
Signature Touch
As a special homage, Jack Ramsay's handwritten signature is elegantly placed on the jock tag.
